Maria Luísa Fernandes de Araujo


Maria is a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Chair of Economics of Sustainable Agri-Food Systems. Her research focuses on how farmers understand and respond to climate change mitigation policies in the agricultural sector. Drawing on behavioral and experimental economics, she investigates how information framing can shape support for climate policies across different countries.
She holds a master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Clermont Auvergne and the University of Göttingen, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Brasília, Brazil.
