Research Area A: When are we curious?

I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) in Zoology. I later completed my teaching degree at Exeter University. In 2022, I completed my master's in Animal Ecology from Lund University, where I interned at Utrecht University for my second year. My thesis explored how the presence of infants impacts the social behaviour of adult Barbary macaques.

The ecological and social factors driving curiosity in Assamese macaques

I am primarily interested in the behaviour of social animals. I am driven to explore what motivates social behaviour and what are the underlying mechanisms that dictate the social environment

I have completed to internships, one working with Operation Wallacea in Sulawesi for 3 months, and the second with Apenheul (Netherlands), researching primate behaviour.I have also worked as a Science teacher in the UK.
