PostDoc Position in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Dynamic Nanoscale Imaging (f/m/x)
The group of Prof. Dr. Constantin Pape at the Institute of Computer Science, University Göttingen, invites applications for a PostDoc position on AI approaches in super-resolution microscopy with a focus on analyzing the dynamics of biomolecules. This position is part of an interdisciplinary research project with the Department of Prof. Dr. Stefan Hell at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences (MPI-NAT).
The PostDoc will develop and supervise work on novel AI-based data analysis for studying the dynamics of biomolecules using MINFLUX and MINSTED, which enable the in vivo observation of biomolecular processes up to a resolution of one nanometer. This work will be pursued in close collaboration with the department of Prof. Dr. Hell, leading experts in super-resolution microscopy. It will enable a much more detailed understanding of the dynamical processes underpinning life at a molecular level. The PostDoc will officially be employed by the MPI-NAT, but will work primarily in the group of Prof. Pape.
