As an independent researcher, her lab conducts studies in public perceptions and behaviour. People are often far from passive recipient of an intervention or policy. While the living conditions and social norms shape their opinion, public behaviour could at times be contradictory. By adapting a bottom-up approach that places public attitude in its core, this lab aim to gain a better understanding of such complexities using quantitative and qualitative methods. This is primarily in the context of healthcare but also expands to other areas such as environmental sustainability and distributive justice with the overarching theme of addressing global inequality and inequity.
