JULIAN MAYRHUBER
Julian Mayrhuber is a doctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Krisztina Kis-Katos (Chair of International Economic Policy), Prof. Dr. Andreas Fuchs (Chair of Development Economics and Global Political Economy), and Prof. Dr. Feicheng Wang (University of Groningen). He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Vienna and previously worked as a research assistant at the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB).
His research interests span international trade, capital flows, and political economy, with a particular focus on China. He is part of the research project "Mapping China's Economic Diplomacy (ChiWiDi)", which examines the political and economic mechanisms behind China's growing influence in international trade. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space.
