Julian Mayrhuber is a doctoral researcher at the Chair of International Economic Policy under the supervision of Prof. Krisztina Kis-Katos, Prof. Dr. Andreas Fuchs (Chair of Development Economics and Global Political Economy), and Prof. Dr. Feicheng Wang (University of Groningen). He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Vienna and previously worked as a research assistant at the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB).



His research interests lie at the intersection of international trade and political economy, with a particular focus on China. He is part of the research project "Mapping China's Economic Diplomacy (ChiWiDi)", which examines the political and economic mechanisms behind China's growing influence in international trade.
