• October 1988: enrolment in the Physics degree course at the Science Faculty,
University of Trento - Italy
• September 1991 - June 1992 : participation to the Erasmus scheme of the EC
for the mobility of undergraduate students; attended one academic year at the
Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London, UK
• 22 July 1994: Laurea (Diplom) in Physics at the University of Trento, Italy,
with full marks and honours. Dissertation : “Developments in QFT at Finite
Temperature”, supervisor: Prof. Ruggero Ferrari
• October 1994: admission through competition to the Ph.D. program in Particle
Physics Theory at SISSA-ISAS in Trieste, Italy
• April-August 95 : final exams for five of the first year courses: Quantum Field
Theories, Lie Algebras and Differential Geometry, The Standard Theory of
Electroweak Interactions, Theories of Grand Unification, Supersymmetry.• October 1995: start of the Ph. D. research project on CP violation in the
early universe, especially in the leptogenesis scenario, at SISSA, under the
supervision of Dr. E. Roulet and Prof. A. Masiero
