| Beschreibung | The stringor bundle plays the role of the spinor bundle, but in string theory instead of quantum mechanics. It has been anticipated in pioneering work of Stolz and Teichner as a vector bundle on loop space. I will talk about joint work with Matthias Ludewig and Peter Kristel that provides a fully rigorous and neat presentation of the stringor bundle as an associated 2-vector bundle, via a representation of the string 2-group on a von Neumann algebra. |
