European Association fo Animal Production (EAAP) ( http://www.eaap.org) rewards two göttinger scientists.

For this year’s annual meeting of the EAAP in Creta, Greece, Florence Ytournel rewarded a scholarship from the EAAP for her conference contribution about "Inclusion of externally computed genotype frequencies in the gene-flow method". Eduardo da Cruz Gouveia Pimentel has been awarded to the H. Wilhelm Schaumann Stiftung Scholarship for his conference contribution about "Towards novel selection strategies to improve production and fertility by integrating expression profiles and high throughput genotyping in cattle".
