Description and results:
The CC-SIM is focused on the prospective Data and Information Management of smart meter operations used for controlling and optimizing the Energy allocation and utilization. The CC-SIM shall deliver methodologies and practice-oriented approaches for planning and configuration of smart meter solutions. The challenges of high data volume, complex interaction patters and various organizational options require a tied cooperation of praxis and academic work to achieve substantial results. International Benchmarks, Best Practices, assessments, design studies, implementation support and prototypes are only some examples out of the short and midterm activity range.
The CC-SIM will be organized in concert with utilities and service providers of the energy value chain as well as the dmi – Direct Management Institute of St. Gallen. The academic responsibility has Prof. Dr. Kolbe, Georg-August Universität Göttingen, Chair of Information Management. The governance of the core program will be taken by the Steering Board of the CC SIM Partner.
