German intensive language class for Erasmus students and partnership students

The University of Göttingen has been offering a new and improved German language course as of September 2005.

The course is entitled “Starting to study made easy: Daily communication, specific terminology and society and culture”. The number of teaching hours was increased to six per day and now also includes an introduction to specific terminology. Even the program of accompanying events was expanded to cover many highlights such as day trips and visits to university departments. The participants are introduced to situations of daily student life as well as to German culture in general. This is intended to alleviate their integration in Göttingen and their academic endeavors.

Due to the increase in teaching hours and the accompanying events, a course fee has been charged since September 2005.

In order to participate in the German language course you have to fill in the registration form under http://www.uni-goettingen.de/studium/sommerkurs. Only when having filled in this second registration form as well, we can guarantee you a place in the language course.
