User-oriented business models as the key to future mobility
There is often tension between innovative concepts of mobility and their actual economic business viability. The Sustainable Mobility Research Group (SMRG) is an interdisciplinary research group that aims to lessen this tension by analyzing how user-oriented business models could be key for the acceptance and diffusion of innovative mobility solutions.
The SMRG works with various mobility scenarios (urban and rural areas, etc.) and diverse concepts of mobility (car sharing, intermodal services, etc.) while being actively involved in the development of customized business models. Aiming to achieve a greater user orientation, the SMRG ensures user involvement in the different phases of the innovation process.
