School of Social Sciences der JNU


The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi is one of the leading research universities in India. JNU was founded in the 1970's and offers excellent conditions for research and teaching in new disciplines and fields of study. The School of Social Sciences (which includes the Center for Historical Studies) is a great place for top researchers from around the world. JNU and the Georg-August-University Göttingen have a Memorandum of Understanding. Since August 2010, the School of Social Sciences at JNU and Göttingen University also came to an "Agreement of Cooperation". This agreement is intensifying the exchange of ideas, researchers and students.
