Internationalisierung der Curricula

Funding of digitally supported teaching projects for the internationalisation of curricula

Interested academics can apply for project funding. Funding through central study quality funds will support two models of internationally oriented teaching projects in this call for proposals. Both should be anchored in the curriculum individual or several modules or a study focus. They should make a contribution to integrating global perspectives and intercultural competence transfer into the course of study, regardless of whether the students are studying abroad or not.

Workshop: From the module to the internationalised classroom: How to translate curricular requirements to teaching practices

In this hands-on workshop, we will explore different approaches and rationales of internationalisation which will provide a framework for participants to map and share their practices. The programme logic model will be applied to curriculum design under the principle of constructive alignment and in the context of an internationalised curriculum in which the focus is on internationalising learning outcomes. Finally, we will reflect on the didactics of the international classroom and identify strategies which can be applied to capitalise on culturally diverse groups. Participants are advised to take the syllabus/guide of a module/course they teach to the workshop.

Brochure Internationalisation of Curricula: Experiences and good practices

Since the process of internationalising the curricula has been going on for some time now, it was important to let teachers, faculty representatives and students have their say and to make their internationalisation activities visible. In our new brochure "Internationalisation of Curricula: Experiences and Good Practices" we have therefore gathered a wealth of experiences with internationalisation projects and digital tools designed to facilitate international cooperation and a change of perspective in teaching. The brochure is available in German and English and we will be happy to send you a printed copy on request.
