What additional costs may arise during use?
For weekend events, special cleaning may be required, which will be charged to the organizer.
For evening events – especially on weekends – the main entrance must be protected by professional security personnel. Booking and payment are handled by the organizer.
For university-internal events, caretaker fees will be charged for each hour or part thereof starting after 8:00 PM and on weekends.


Is the building wheelchair accessible?
The building and all event spaces are wheelchair accessible. The main entrance is accessible via a ramp. The building also has an elevator.



Can catering and service staff also be booked through Event Management?
No, Event Management is solely responsible for booking and coordinating the room. Booking catering and service staff must be done by the event organizer. The caterer is freely selectable. You can find a selection of different caterers on our website.

Can the car be driven up to the main entrance for loading and unloading?
Yes, but the vehicle may only be left there for loading and unloading.


Are parking spaces available near the building?
No, there are no parking spaces available. The nearest parking lot is on Albaniplatz at the Stadthalle (charges apply). It is about 400 meters away on foot.

Are there any costs associated with using the existing facilities and event technology?
No. There are no additional costs associated with using the existing facilities. Use of the foyers and kitchenettes is also free of charge.

Is the Alte Mensa conference and event center also available for private celebrations, such as weddings, etc.?
No, private events are not possible there.
