Networks and Memberships

Network for the development of the human resources at Universities (UniNetzPE)

The University of Göttingen is a member of the Network for HR development at Universities (UniNetzPE). The main purpose of this federal network is the cross-linking of all central human resources developers and their close cooperation.

The German University Association of Advanced Graduate Training (UniWiND)

The University of Göttingen is a member of the German University Association of Advanced Graduate Training (UniWiND). The University of Göttingen´s section HR Development exchanges information and good practices regarding early career support with other universities, for example within the Postdoc Network of UniWiND.
Furthermore, colleagues of the University of Göttingen´s Graduate Schools also provide input to and benefit from the University's membership in UniWiND.

U4 Career Service Network

The University of Göttingen is part of the U4 Network, an European University Network connecting Ghent University (BE), the University of Göttingen (DE), the University of Groningen (NL), and Uppsala University (SE). The U4 Career Service Netwerk was established in 2013 with the aim to exchange best practices on career support for master students and early career researchers. Moreover, this network organised the U4 Career Staff Training taking place from 2016-2018 for the first time, with five participants from each university working with different target groups in the scope of this network.

Cross-University Further Education Scheme (HüW)

The University of Göttingen is a member of the Cross-University Further Education Scheme (HüW). The HüW provides a programme which is open to the employees of the University of Göttingen. In general, fees are covered by the institution which is sending their coworker/s.
Our section HR Development coordinates demands for external further education with other member universities, supplementing the internal qualification programme of the University of Göttingen.
