International acknowledgment for studies in animal and plant breeding in Göttingen

(pug) The Göttingen agricultural scientist Prof. Dr. Henner Simianer has received a great award for his research on prediction methods in animal and plant breeding. His work will now be published in the special issue Spotlight of the journal Genetics. Every year, the journal of the Genetics Society of America publishes scientific articles characterized by excellent research. Simianer is head of the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Göttingen. Further research results are published in the May issue of Genetics.
