RTG 2636: Form-meaning mismatches
The Research Training Group (RTG) "Form-meaning mismatches" aims to provide a large group of PhD students with an excellent training in linguistic research by jointly investigating one of the most pressing questions in linguistics, namely to what extent morphosyntactic structures are mapped onto meaning. Not only is this investigation critical to linguistic theory, especially when it concerns the interface between morphosyntax and semantics/pragmatics, but it may also help us better understand language variation, language change, language processing and language acquisition.
The RTG has been funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
We are delighted to announce that the 53rd Annual Meeting of the North East Linguistic Society (NELS 53) will take place on January 12-14, 2023 at the University of Göttingen! The meeting will be hosted by the RTG 2636 together with broader linguistics community in Göttingen LinG. More details here.
