Content

The business products and services are created in the business processes.The efficient management of business processes is therefore one of the central tasks of a company. In this course, the concept of a modern computer-aided business process management is developed, meaning that it is discussed which concepts, technologies and IT systems can be used to plan, control and improve business processes. In this, connections are drawn between modeling methods, approaches of integrated data management and the sensor technologies for process optimization.

Study Goals

    The students should
  • know the business process orientation and the ARIS concept for business process management
  • understand approaches and concepts for integrated data management as well as new technologies for process improvement
  • learn about software systems for the support of business processes
