Charlotte Middelhoff is PhD candidate at the Research Center “Poverty, Equity and Growth in Developing Countries” under the supervision of Prof. Marcela Ibanez Diaz. Her main research interests lie in behavioural and development economics, with a focus on gender, inequality and poverty. Charlotte holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Institutions from Philipps-University Marburg and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Passau. Before coming to Göttingen, she has gained research experience at the German Central Bank, the German Council of Economic Experts, and the chair of Sustainable Use of Natural Resources at Philipps-University Marburg.
