SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Despite the fact that many scientists are working hard in the field of neuroscience, there are still a lot of unsolved problems in the mechanisms of learning and memory. I am interested in these complex cognitive functions and want to understand the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms. My long term goal is to help people suffering from brain injuries or neurodegenerative diseases to restore their normal memory and life.
