Research Interests

I seek to understand relationships between biodiversity's causes and effects and their consequences for human livelihoods. I use a holistic approach by linking micro- and macro-ecological patterns and mechanisms and developing spatially- and temporally-explicit frameworks that integrate multiple facets of biodiversity, multi-taxa diversity, above-belowground interactions, and ecosystem functioning.
