SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My main scientific interest has always been related to the field of Neuroscience. I am mesmerized by the fact that we can decipher such complex processes like learning or memorizing. Not only am I keen to study the physiological basis of this processes but also pathological. Therefore, I am also really interested in the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases where memory is affected, like Alzheimer’s disease. In the future, I would like to contribute to the knowledge we currently have about neuronal plasticity.
