SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am fascinated by the intricate network of connections and circuits within the nervous system and how these connections shape our perception, memory, and cognitive abilities. Additionally, I am intrigued by how neurons adapt and modify their activity and connections in response to experience and environmental stimuli over different time scales, and particularly the molecular, cellular and network processes involved. The multitude of functions of the nervous system offers so many other captivating research options, which I am eager to explore and understand more thoroughly during my master’s studies.
