Moritz has been studying for a Master's degree in History of Global Markets at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen since the winter semester 23/24. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Management and Economics at the Ruhr University in Bochum in January 2023.

During his bachelor studies, Moritz completed a semester abroad at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow (2021) and worked as a student assistant for the Institute for Development Research and Development Policy (IEE) in Bochum. He gained further professional experience through a previously completed vocational training as a banker and internships at the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce Abroad (AHK) in Baku, the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Federal Foreign Office and Deloitte.

Moritz has been working as a student assistant at the Chair of Economic Policy and SME Research since October 2023.
