Learning Objectives


After successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

• describe and explain the fundamentals of a selected topic in business administration and business informatics (including information management, management information systems, and information and communication systems),


• apply existing knowledge from the literature on the above-mentioned topics to a given problem


• develop and analyze their own insights into a problem based on existing literature.

Examination requirements


In the module examination, students demonstrate that they:

• are able to independently analyze a given problem in business administration, business informatics, and computer science and solve it with the help of scientific literature and scientific methods,


• can critically reflect on their own solutions and identify alternatives,


• can write up the results in the form of a seminar paper and present them in the form of a lecture,


• can answer critical questions about the lecture and thus contribute to an intensive and constructive academic discourse.
