I am a doctoral candidate at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, where I study international forest governance and environmental policy. My doctoral research examines how domestic factors shape Peru's engagement in forest foreign policy. My work combines qualitative and quantitative methods to better understand the actors, institutions, and policy processes involved in forest diplomacy. I holds an M.Sc. in Tropical Forestry from Technische Universität Dresden.
