Visiting us by rail and bus

Göttingen railway station is an InterCityExpress (ICE) stop on Germany's domestic long-distance high-speed rail network. For an overview of connections see the pages of German National Railways (DB Bahn):

....going on with a taxi
The railway station has two exits, you will find a taxi rank located at both of them. Going to the faculty by taxi takes about 12 minutes. Costs are approximately 13,-€.

....going on with the bus
Use the main exit of the station (direction: Innenstadt (Inner City)). The bus terminal is located at your right hand side, just about 100 meters away.

Take line 21 (Nikolausberg) or 23. On working days the buses depart four times per hour (at *.13 and *.43 (line 21) and at *.08 and *.38 (line23)). Travelling time is about 16 minutes. At the 10th stop (Burckhardtweg), you have to leave the bus. Tickets can be purchased on the bus for 2,10€ (One-Way).

From the bus stop, you have to follow the road for about 30 meters backwards, until you reach a parking lot on your left hand side. Cross this parking lot, the entrance to our building is located at the right end of the parking lot.
