Barrier-free access to Göttingen University
Göttingen University strives to make studying and everyday student life as barrier-free as possible. On principle, all new major building projects are designed barrier-free, and this also applies to most of the less extensive renovation and modernisation projects. However, not all facilities are ideal for this purpose: many of the new buildings on the central campus and in the northern part of the University are barrier-free and wheelchair-accessible. But some of the old buildings near the city centre can only be entered via stairs.
The information about barrier-free access to Göttingen University is documented in our Digital Campus Map.
The Centralised Failure and Alarms Management is the central contact point for all employees and students of the University of Göttingen for all technical questions and problems. The employees of the Centralised Failure and Alarm Management are working everyday (even on Sundays and bank holidays). Fault reports that require urgent action can be immediately reported on the telephone number 0551/39-1171.
