On June 17, 2024, the Study Office Mathematics, in cooperation with Alumni Göttingen e.V., invites you to the event "Career Day Mathematics".

• What: Mathematics alumni talk about their current jobs or their careers in general.
• When: Monday, the 17th of June 2024 from 14.00h - approx. 16.30h
• Where: Maximum of the mathematical institute

  • 14.30h-15.00h: Pär Persson Mattsson Product Manager at UberCloud
  • 15.00h-15.15h: BREAK
  • 15.15h-15.45h: Dr. Thorsten Groth Project and Team Lead at Prof. Schumann GmbH
  • 15.45h-16.15h: Dr. Ulrike Ober Senior Manager at EY

• All talks will be given in English.

In their short talks the speakers for example talk about

• their personal experience regarding their careers,
• their everyday life in their current jobs,
• their current employer,
• and give you the chance to aks questions about starting a career with mathematics.

After the event there will be the opportunity for personal exchange with coffee, tea and cookies.
