Brief description
The research project is comprised of the development of an instrument (utilisation cycle management) that enables local authorities to deliberate and realise a regeneration of living quarters that are undergoing change.

In this way they gain an option in comparison with the dedication of undeveloped area. The utilisation cycle management examines quarters alongside the utilisation cycles which begin with their first time use.

Continuous monitoring, evaluation and decision processes help the utilisation cycle management to adjust the existing living quarters to a changing demand and so assist in reducing the spatial demand for new buildings.
