Dr. Jan Schönig

I’m a postdoctoral scientist focussing on the reconstruction of metamorphic conditions from a detrital perspective. This includes the development and application of novel provenance techniques like mineral inclusion analysis and multivariate statistical discrimination by using machine-learning algorithms. All these approaches aim in tracing and understanding geodynamic regimes and their evolution through Earth’s history.
