Göttingen Summer School on Chinese Law from 25-29.09.2023

This year, the lecture series "Göttingen Summer School on Chinese Law" of the German-Chinese Institute of Law at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen will again take place in a hybrid format during the week of September 25-29, 2023.

Organized in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law Hamburg, the event is aimed at students, doctoral candidates and practitioners who would like to gain a first insight into Chinese law or deepen their existing knowledge. The focus is on the professional exchange about current developments in Chinese law and legal practice in China. The German-Chinese Institute is pleased to welcome a growing international audience, so the lecture series will be held in English.

The main component of the Summer School will be a daily lecture on "Chinese Business Law" by Professor Dr. Knut Benjamin Pißler, China-Specialist at the Max Planck Institute. In addition, we expect numerous other experts in the field of Chinese law, who will fill the event week with exciting lectures from science and practice.
