Information and counselling
Göttingen University offers you comprehensive information and counselling services; the contact partners of the relevant organisations are able to assist you with questions on planning your studies or in coping with difficult situations. A variety of different questions come into focus depending on the stage of your studies.
The Central Student Advisory Service offers prospective students and students with disabilities and/or chronic diseases a wide range of information and counselling services.
Diversity Management offers information on possibilities of assistance for students with disabilities and/or chronic diseases and on structural measures to remove or mitigate existing barriers.
The Representative for Quality of Studies is the central contact partner for students concerning suggestions and complaints about the quality of conditions for studying and services; here any general or individual requests or suggestions in connection with studying (submitted by individuals or groups) are treated as strictly confidential and dealt with anonymously, if desired.
The study and examination advisers of the faculties are the right contact partners for specific information on all topics concerning the organisation of studies, such as subject content, combinations of subjects and conditions of studying.
The Social Department of the AStA student union provides assistance in dealing with a wide range of concerns, problems and difficulties.
Here, counselling and support in all social questions relating to studying is provided to disabled senior secondary school graduates and students.
