IV. AjV Research Colloquium

The AjV Research Colloquium is entering its fourth round. Since October 2024, the AjV has been inviting doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers to present their current research in the different fields of international law. This time, the Research Colloquium will be hosted by Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.

Independent from the stage of research, the Research Colloquium is open for all doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers of international law. Its main objective is to provide an informal and inclusive space for discussion, debate, and critical–constructive reflection. It offers participants the opportunity to test and further develop their preliminary research findings. Additionally, there is ample room to address more practical questions or current challenges related to your research. The informal, non-hierarchical atmosphere, removed from any pressure of evaluation, provides an ideal setting for such exchanges.

This time’s Research Colloquium will be bilingual: submissions, presentations and discussions can be in German and English.

Applications can be submitted until 1 February 2026.
