Invitation to the open lecture of the Prof. Mumo Kisau, Ph.D.
"African Leadership: Looking back, Looking forward"

Prof. Mumo Kisau holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK, and is the Vice Chancellor of Scott Christian University. He is a Board Member of the Bible Society of Kenya (BSK), Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and the Chairman of Kenya Association of Private Universities (KAPU).

Before joining Scott Christian University he served in World Vision International as a senior team leader of 8 countries and International Leadership University as a Vice Principal for Planning and Development and a Dean of Post Graduate Studies. Prof. Mumo Kisau has also served in other organisations in various positions among them Daystar University, Haggai Institute in Maui, USA, William Carey International University in U.S.A and Ezra Bible institute for Graduate Studies, Koyang Dong, South Korea.

Prof. Mumo Kisau has authored several books and written several journal articles and book chapters. He is a renown public speaker internationally. Prof. Mumo Kisau chairs Boards of various organizations and is passionate in promoting education at all levels.

Prof. Mumo Kisau is passionate in developing transformational leaders for Africa and beyond. He is currently engaged in transformation leadership research. He was one of the plenary speakers and panelist in the African Biblical Leadership Initiative (ABLI) conference in Cameroon in 2017 and the keynote speaker and panelist in 2018 ABLI in Swaziland (the Kingdom of Eswatini).
He is married to Pastor Mary Namukoko Mumo, originally from Zambia, and one daughter, Malia Mumo Kisau and one foster daughter: Grace Ndinda.
