One key success factor in scientific working environments is so called “lateral” or “informal” leadership. You will often lead project teams, even without formal disciplinary power. In the context of “Diversity” this becomes even more challenging.
In this training you will get an overview about basic leadership principles and -tasks. You will get insights into target-group-specific communication, reflect your own “diversity-approach” and learn successful feedback-techniques. Dealing with conflict and misunderstandings – related to personality and culture – is another major part of this training.

training topics:

  • The challenges and tasks of an (informal) leadership position in the academic and non-academic sector
  • Different roles as an (informal) leader
  • Intercultural aspects of leadership
  • Interpersonal aspects of leadership
  • Setting and pursuing goals as a leader
  • Successfully managing difficult and conflict situations

We will work with a huge variety of methods and approaches which enables you to identify your own personal leadership style and -approach.
