The Division cooperates with Datev eG. TThis enables students to become familiar with computer applications used in tax consultancies.

The following applications are of particular interest:

  • income tax
  • federal income tax
  • business tax
  • Kanzlei-Rewe [laws]
  • ANLAG - assets accounting

Further applications are available. Please contact the Division for more information.

To search for literature, the Division uses LEXinform, which offers the opportunity to find journals, Federal tax court decisions, Federal Tax Gazette content etc. by applying keywords. LEXinform is available to students during the student assistants’ consultation hours.
This service is of particular importance during preparation of course work and thesis work

The Division has an arrangement with Verlag Neue Wirtschaftsbriefe (NWB). On this basis, students can use the NWB database for study purposes. Please click on the nwb VERLAG link to log in. For this you need to have campus access to the university network or dial in via a virtual private network.
