SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am currently interested in various areas of genomic regulation, especially in the mechanisms of gene expression and epigenetic regulation in both health and disease states. I would like to better understand how each step of gene expression is modulated at the level of nuclear genome and mRNA using biophysics and molecular biology approaches. I am looking forward to exploring research topics such as genome stability, chromatin domains and RNA maturation in order to broaden my knowledge and understand my career path.
