Marketplace for theses and projects

The Campus-Institute Data Science (CIDAS) organizes again this semester a marketplace for final theses and projects. During the marketplace, lecturers and scientists will present topics for theses and projects related to Data Science.

The event is aimed at students of data science, computer science and statistics, as well as all those interested in data science from the application subjects, e.g. economics, geosciences, biology and digital humanities, who would like to be inspired about possible final and project topics, as well as all teachers and scientists who would like to network and find new cooperation partners after the Pitch Talks.

Schedule and format
The marketplace will take place online on BigBlueButton (BBB) on Thursday, 03.02.2022, 12:00 - 15:30. BBB-Link: However, the presentations will be sorted into thematic blocks in advance, so that the event can only be attended at the times when the individually interesting topics are presented.

Each participating research group will be given an approximately 4-minute time slot within a block of related topics to briefly present potential projects. In addition, this time there will be a 15- to 20-minute question session after each topic block where students will discuss individual questions with you in individual breakout rooms. The room also offers the opportunity for contact among the scientists.
