Description and results:

Data Leakage can be defined as an undesired flow of information leaving the organization´s legal boundaries due to negligent or intentional behavior or targeted actions from insiders or outsiders. The objectives of the study were to identify, analyze and assess the different sources and implications of data leakage and their risk to the bank.
The study served the bank as supporting evidence to implement security policies that minimize the risk of a leakage.
