Sebastian Otto (24 Jahre)

Sebastian worked as a volunteer from the department for development policy in a township in South Africa for one year. He then began with his legal studies where only the final exams are to come once the Moot has finished. During his studies he was tutor and contact person for international ERASMUS students. The Vis Moot gives him the chance to enhance these intercultural competences he gained by those experiences before he begins learning/revising for his exams.

For Sebastian the special atmosphere in the Moot emerging from the intense working period is very appealing. The same applies to the chance to look into a legal question from the perspective of a party, which is quite in contrast to the objective view in the university. In his spare time, Sebastian is a referee in the junior league of the German football league and enjoys some recreational time lake fishing.
