Teaching Objectives of the Guest Chair in International Management

The Chair’s objective is to provide students with an education consisting of three main aspects: theory, business relevance, and empirical evidence. Our teaching allows students to acquire general knowledge of a topic, skills to apply theoretical frameworks to practice and draw policy and practice implications from literature reviews. The Chair implements empirical evidence-based approaches which enable students to further examine international business based on empirical studies and research methods. Furthermore, the teachings will cover current topics and case studies, by also providing opportunities for the students to engage in cooperative projects with companies. For those students who are interested in research careers, opportunities for participation in on-going research projects will be provided.

All courses are taught in English.
