The Council of Research Associates and Lecturers

The non-professorial researchers and teaching staff of the Theological Faculty are associated through the Council of Research Associates and Lecturers. This includes the post-graduate assistants employed by the various departments, the language instructors, and members of externally funded research projects. Not represented by this group are doctoral students and post-doc researchers who receive individual scholarships.

Most members of the Council of Research Associates and Lecturers are employed by the Theological Faculty for a limited period of time, usually between three and five years. During this time, they produce a doctoral thesis or a "second book", contribute to the work at their department or research project, and occasionally offer introductory courses in their field. Their responsibilities cover a wide range of exciting tasks.

The Council of Research Associates and Lecturers offers an opportunity to connect with one´s colleagues and to exchange ideas. It also represents the interests of its members in the different administrative boards of the Faculty. The Council holds meetings two times per semester, distributes information through e-mail and participates in the social life at the Theological Faculty.

We invite all new associates, lecturers, and post-doc researchers of the Faculty to join us – welcome!
