The Göttinger Model

Since October 2015, the pilot project "Internationalisation of Curricula" has supported the (further) systematic internationalisation of curricula, i.e. the integration of global perspectives and intercultural competences transfer into the study programmes for all students, regardless of a stay abroad.

Three faculties were initially involved in the pilot phase: the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economic Sciences.
In the first phase, internationalised courses in the pilot faculties have been identified and made more visible. internationalised courses in the pilot faculties. In the further course of the project, we support the pilot faculties in the development of suitable content and didactic concepts.

Since 2017, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Philosophy, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and the Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology have also been included in the project. Since the beginning of 2019, the Faculty of Geosciences and Geography has also participated in the project.
