Why study Sustainable International Agriculture (SIA)?
Agriculture worldwide faces complex and interconnected challenges. Climate change, pressure on natural resources, growing demands for food and changing economic and social conditions are transforming agricultural systems. Addressing these challenges requires approaches that consider environmental sustainability, agricultural productivity, economic viability and social development.
The M.Sc. Sustainable International Agriculture (SIA) provides an interdisciplinary and research-oriented education to explore these challenges from ecological, economic and social perspectives. Combining scientific knowledge with analytical and methodological skills, the programme enables you to understand and critically assess agricultural systems in different regions of the world. Through three specializations and a broad range of elective modules, you can develop your own academic profile and focus on the areas of sustainable agriculture that interest you most.
