Courant Research Centre "Nano-Spectroscopy and X-Ray Imaging"

Promoted by the Excellence Initiative of the German Federal and State Governments, the University of Göttingen founded five Courant Research Centres on October 19th 2007 after a multi-level competition. The Courant Research Centre “Nano-Spectroscopy and X-Ray Imaging” located at the Faculty of Physics, aims at novel instrumentation, methods and optics for time-resolved X-Ray spectroscopy and imaging. The central goals of the CRC are

  • the development, implementation and application of advance imaging technologies, and

  • the development and application of time-resolved X-Ray studies both at the accelerator-based and compact X-Ray sources in Göttingen
