Courant Research Centre ´´Nano-Spectroscopy and X-ray Imaging´´

Promoted in the Excellence Initiative of the German Federal and State Governments, the University of Göttingen founded five Courant Research Centres on October 19th 2007 after a multi-level expertise. The Courant Research Centre “Nano-Spectroscopy and X-Ray Imaging” located at the Faculty of Physics, aims novel instrumentation, methods and optics for time-resolved x-ray spectroscopy and imaging. The central goals of the CRC are

- The development, implementation and application of advanced imaging technologies, and

- The development and application of time-resolved X-ray studies both at the accelerator-based and compact X-ray sources in Göttingen
