Featuring Michael Gottlob (India group) from Amnesty International, and Rupa Viswanath, Gajendran Ayyathurai, Sumeet Mhaskar, Dickens Leonard Michael Raj (Lenny), Jadumani Mahanand and Chittibabu Padavala, all from CeMIS.

This event will explain how caste discrimination violently subordinates millions of people in both South Asia and the diaspora, subjecting them to economic, political and cultural exclusion. Through film and discussion with the audience, panelists will talk about anti-caste activism and the numerous ways people can learn more and get involved in ending this injustice.
