40 under 40 Public Health Catalyst Award 2023


Dr Muhammad Jawad Noon has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious 40 under 40 Public Health Catalyst Award from the Boston Congress of Public Health (BCPH). This international award recognizes emerging leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists, activists, intellectual pioneers and authors who have made exceptional contributions to the fields of public health, health equity and social justice.

Dr Noon studied medicine in Pakistan, followed by an MSc in Evidence-Based Intervention and Policy Evaluation at Oxford. He currently works as a doctoral researcher at the Chair of Development Economics/ Centre of Modern Indian Studies (Prof. Dr. Sebastian Vollmer) where his work focuses on health econometrics.

In 2021, Dr Noon was awarded the German Medical Award. Earlier this year, he also received the Dr Judy Wasserheit Young Leader Award.
